It was just raining hard outside, and I could hear thundering out of the window. The sky looked like the color of fire against a darkening sky — the thick clouds seemed to have taken on an impossibly menacing shade. Suddenly, there was a loud bang followed by a thump of lightning, followed by some static.
I sat down at my computer, turned off all notifications, and tried not to look away from the screen as I waited for them to appear on my TV screen. Then came what felt like several minutes later, that familiar sound from the air conditioner blowing our tiny house around.
After about ten more seconds of silence, they started blaring again. “Woof! Woof! Woof, wooow!” The whole office froze. My dog jumped onto my lap and licked me. A second or two passed and suddenly three, then four, five, six—the noise got louder, raucous, and annoying. This time they had no idea how to react, so many people were looking through their phones to see if someone else had spotted the source of this commotion outside, and now everyone was making small talk about anything that might provide an alternate explanation for this.
Eventually, after the next few minutes, we were all huddled together under a giant blanket protecting us with hundreds of millions of dollars worth of aluminum foil. We knew we needed to go to the store immediately and decided to take advantage of the time being allowed by social distancing.
While sitting there in front of the electronic goods section, I saw something familiar. There was no doubt that it was a product belonging to the company called Repel, which is well known worldwide for its excellent outdoor products that have become essential items during these difficult times. They can even come in different sizes to match the needs of every traveler, thanks to the development of advanced technology that allows us to customize everything from lighting bulbs and phone batteries to cameras and speakers.
As most of what we were doing online could happen safely within a very short distance (we’re talking less than 5 meters), I decided to visit their website and read reviews to make sure I was buying a reliable product that I would actually use at home without worrying about damage from rain, wind, snow, and other natural disasters.
It turns out that in order to improve the safety of our homes and offices, we need to take care of ourselves inside also. According to their FAQ page, Repel has developed an exclusive line of over 10,000 waterproof travel umbrellas. Their claim is that they work with up to 40% less energy than traditional umbrellas, which makes them a great choice as long as you have plenty of space in your house. They offer multiple colors and sizes, meaning you get one suitable for any trip, big or small. You just choose between single, double, etc., depending on your requirements. They offer both soft-top and foam version that is both safe and comfortable. With such a wide range of styles and patterns available, anyone can find a perfect match without spending a dime!
